Denny's is never a go to place for me. Regardless of what city I'm in I'd much rather venture into a local breakfast place to try and get the same kinds of food. Heck IHOP is better then Denny's IMHO. However, I was wrangled up to get some food here late at night. Around 12-1AMish. Service was adequate. Food? UGH! The amount of food given and the quality is terrible. Two itty pieces of bacon can show you that they do not know how to cook food back there. The pancakes were OK slathered with syrup. Eggs were done decent but nothing extravagant. All I've got to say is you will find this to be a fairly typical Denny's and thus I will try not to return unless I absolutely have to!

I rarely post bad reviews for any business but this Denny's on Lee Rd needed some attention. We came to this Denny's with the family this Sunday afternoon and had the worst experience ever. It was that bad. We came in and was sat down then nobody even came to our table for 30-40 mins..it felt even longer. My brother in law had to go up to the front and ask for help. They then came and got our drink order and food order. It wasn't even that busy in the restaurant at this moment and our food took like an hour before we even got the food...and to make it even worse, the server got my sister's order wrong. She then had to wait another 30 mins for her food. She got so upset that my brother in law just went and paid at the front desk and we all left. She even ask for a refill on her coffee and didn't get it either. We also had to ask for our silverware and napkins. The server didn't even act like she even cared. Going to places like this we don't expect to get first class service or anything, but this was horrific. We will never ever return to this Denny's ever!! I'm not sure if I even want to return to one!

I don't know how a chain place can make the food nasty. Food too salty and burger raw in the middle

I have been to a lot of Denny's but this one is one I won't go to again. I've eaten here a lot but only on Sunny Days. Because the place stinks to high heaven when it rains. The place looks run down and it is telling because of the part of Orlando its in they don't seem to care about how it looks like and the roof looks like its about to fall. Try going to the Ale house down the road. This Dennys has seen its better days. Because its just run the heck down.

Not to much I can say great about this place but they did make my ice coffee correcly they just didn't know the definition of a refill. The food was disapointing at best being xmas eve morning my wife and I decided to let our 6 year old have a pizza for breakfast there was barely any sauce or cheese on it any you could see the over cooked dough through everything. I ordered a steak and cheese omelette all I can say is I have ate better at soup kitchens in the hood. The "steak" was pieces of left over beef from a stew there was one green and one red pepper which I found mildly amusing due to the festive season and on what seemed to be three to for eggs improperly made into an omelette. Even after just looking at it my 6 year old said they made it wrong and went through the steps they should have taken and described how to make a great omelette. My wife ordered a I don't even know but it resembled something to the extent of poached eggs on a hamburger bun and a hockey puck having a ugly baby. My hash browns were greatly defrosted and grease filled they forgot to cook anything but the outside. Oh yeah and now my wife and son are outside after eating and I am finishing this review sitting at the table still awaiting a refill but to my shagrin I am assuming I need to travel to the gas station to buy a drink. So YELP I bid you ado until next time.

I was feeling really sick so I came in to place a to-go breakfast order. The server who took my order was very kind and the food was great. He handed me a receipt with a tip line but no pen. I was then directed to the front to cash-out. A lady named Heather was up front and this was our conversation when I asked for a pen to write in a tip. I said, "Do you have a pen I can borrow to write down the tip with?" Heather replied agitatedly, "I already asked if you wanted to add a tip." I replied, "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you asked if I wanted some ketchup." Heather loudly said, "No, I was asking about the tip. It's too late now anyways." At this point, I felt very embarrassed because a few other guest were looking at me. She had made it apparent to the whole restaurant that I did not leave a tip. I just waved goodbye and left.

On July 25th for our 30th anniversary, our kids sent us on a weekend to Maitland Fl, We had the luck to go to this Dennys'. we where greeted by a really nice girl who introduced herself as Olivia. We ordered a coke and my husband a lover of chocolate ordered a chocolate shake. To begin with, Olivia brought to our table what she said was her special shake. According to my husband it was the best shake he has ever had. He even took pictures of it and sent it to the kids. Olivia not only made the best shake but she severed him so much he couldn't finish it. I had to saple it and yes it was the best.

Definitely a fan of Denny's. 24 hours a day they serve grand slams! The food cannot be good for you, but it tastes great. We sometimes grab a quick breakfast here before hoping on I-4 to go play golf.

Not the cleanest location but good service and good food.

This is one big dirty restaurant! I am surprised the state has not visited this place. The ceiling has been leaking near the front right side where people sit in the booth section next to the wall. Maybe by now they have cleaned up. The floor is filthy...that carpet has to go...Imagine carpet in a dining area???We will never go there again. I feel sorry for the waitresses...and the customers. It was convenient to go, but quite frankly even though people work in nearby office buildings, do not waste your time by going to a filthy restaurant.

Yesterday my husband, father and I walked into Denny's around 1:30 and saw about 10-15 tables open. A few needed to be cleaned, the rest were ready. There was a wait. The hostess came over and said it would be 10-15 minutes before they could seat us. We asked why and she said they had a big lunch rush and needed time. We looked around and there were no servers to be seen. It was quite. There is no excuse. We walked out and she didn't even care!! Many businesses forget that customers are why they're in business. Always take care of the customer. I own a small business and in my head, the customers are the boss. Without them, I wouldn't succeed. Shame on you. I will never return and I will spread the word.

Can I give negative stars? To quote my boyfriend, "After today's awful experience, that Denny's is dead to me." We don't frequently eat and Denny's or the like but when we do, we come with the understanding that we are in a diner sort of atmosphere and don't honestly expect that much. A smile from the staff now and then would be nice, though. Upon being sat at a table, my friend asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty booth next to us. To this question she responded "No, look up." Pieces of the ceiling were falling all over the table and floor around the booth (and very close to the table we were seated at.) She then went on to inform us that the particles from this mess had been getting into her nose and mouth and making her sick. Gross. Shortly after being seated, the three of us were asked to move by a manager because more debris was actively falling on the floor next to us. We were lead all the way across the restaurant, carrying our own silverware and drinks, and relocated. This was inconvenient BUT we still had no complaints. Flash forward thirty minutes: we still had not received our food. When it did come out, certain items were missing (including an order of mozzarella sticks that were ordered as an appetizer.) We received our appetizer shortly after our meals and they were rock hard and cold. My boyfriend never received his order of bacon and eggs and my friend was charged extra for a side of sauce that was supposed to be on her pancakes but was originally missing. It was obvious that our food had been sitting on the line for some time. Everything was cold and more or less bland. I work at a restaurant and as a rule, I do not complain when I eat out. Stuff happens and I get that. We did, however, let the manager know as we were paying that we did not eat the mozzarella sticks because they were cold and hard. She asked "so you didn't eat them?" She never apologized and she actually gave us quite a bit of attitude about taking them off the bill. This is just poor managerial skill. I won't ever come back to this restaurant based on the level of cleanliness, the poor service that I typically receive at this location, and the general lack of concern or quality. It was actually painful to hand over my money for this meal.
(1)Michelle R.
Absolutely love this place it's good American-Traditional food The double cheeseburger is delicious and they cook the patties fresh to order and the seasoned fries are amazing!!! The waitresses are extremely friendly and very attentive and this place is very clean
(5)London S.
I wish I could give negative stars. The minute we walked into this place the negativity from every employee in the diner was almost suffocating. The women who took out name was unbelievably rude so we decided to sit at the bar and the women who took our drink order was incredibly rude as well. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I'd happily wait 20 minutes at Waffle House or ihop then suffer through a breakfast at this Denny's location.
(1)Marie A.
Food is good, store is clean, service is excellent. Servers attentive to your needs. Prices reasonable
(5)John M.
This place was packed when we walked in here tonight at around 11:30 PM. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but they were shortstaffed, as our waitress told us that one girl who was supposed to be there at 10 had only just arrived an hour and a half late, and even then, that brought the total amount of waitresses for the place to three. That seems a little low for a Saturday night. Our waitress was very friendly and had taken our order immediately, plus then the food came out very quickly, but then our waitress completely disappeared. Legitimately, she was AWOL for close to 20 minutes. As I said, this place was packed, so we were not the only table left hanging, and more people were being seated every second. Seriously, people were multiplying faster than rabbits on a swingers retreat. As far as the food, my wife's eggs were so undercooked that a baby chicken walked right off of her plate, her hashbrowns were so undercooked that they couldn't have been more raw even if they had arrived as just potatoes with a potato peeler, and her sausage oinked a few times. While we were marveling at the petting zoo that had been placed on the table in front of my wife, we were treated to ringside seats at a WWE smackdown. Yeah... there was an altercation between a customer and someone else. All we heard was somebody start getting very loud, and then tables were flipped and chairs were banged around, and the guy started shouting obscenities and then yelled at everybody who was staring at him before bolting out the front door. And it was like the employees didn't even care. Not a single employee went over there, or even so much as asked if everyone was alright. Bottom line is, this place is over packed and understaffed, with a kitchen that doesn't know how to cook, and waitresses that like to play hide and seek.
(1)Michelle M.
I remember Denny's having better portions for the great prices, but two meesly pieces of bacon is not Ok. The waiter did a decent job for it being so late, so that is appreciated. The hash browns were good, and the grand slam is a good deal, just don't get the bacon. If nothing else, it met our late night cravings!!
(2)M. O.
Fun staff, okay food. Denny's should never be at the top of your list, but for late night eats, it does work pretty damn well.
